You can not register a Russian nickname. You can not send a message to another player in Russian.

Your installed database do not support unicode, the default is latin1.
To fix this problem, you have to change you database to unicode supported type and add a query set char-set utf8 in php code where database is connected.
Try your best and good luck!

PS: Backup before makeing changes.
