What did ssddss and darkav do to get so popular?

ssddss was one of the greatest Mu mods here and darkav was one of the biggest mu assholes here.

if I remember correctly, ssddss did alot of work for the Mu community, he worked on/found files.
Iunno what darkav did though...

e0n was a mir2/mir3 player that had a lot of backstage clout with rz servers... classic line went something like "server may lag a little" (he dos'd a bit, even for rz's behalf at least once, go figure) ;)

DArkav is the guy who has been developing most of the new stuff for MU Online plus got a nice team with some really nice work which he doesn't want to share it all. Pretty lame person. :)
ssddss were a nice person and a good mod =P, but i dont remember a one called Darkav
well, I just did a bit of a search on the Darkav guy. He has done lots of work improving the Mu .97 server files (adding new mobs, new skills, etc...) but like was said above, he only releases small parts of them, and most of the stuff he keeps for his server.
Most of the threads where he has released stuffs he has said some rather inappropriate things towards the mods/rz staff... from what I can tell, the guy is pretty much just a greedy, selfish asshole...

isnt darkav the one that got the 99 items to work with the 97version or something like that? was playing mu back then(and dont regret it, lol.. its a bad game, but i had fun..)
darkav is the guy you get to kill in RZA, the leader of the mu kiddies.

ssddss was always trying too help and improve, he was a great guy one of the many good kind hearted proper Mu workers. Although Darkav was always trying too be as abusive and being a fucking arsehole the best way he could. He could be ok on 1/10 occasions but you should talk too him if he's un happy he would "hack" you *supposedly* and the full works. Long live ssddss where ever he is :thumbup:.

but yea, darkav was a total asshole, but released ALOT of stuff for the mu n00bs.
ssddss was an insane programmer.
he made his own server files, complete from scratch, none of the same maps or anything.
it was to be called battle arena, there were no shops and no trading, it was fight for your own stuff.
it worked with the mu .97 client, i tried it right before i quit mu, because he left, i quit mu.

ssddss was great guy. He was the best Mu moderator ever. But about Darkav I have never heard of him!!
well ssddss was a really good guy as i remember he always searched the fix for everything great mu-mod the best 1 ever.
darkav was banned because for being such a total dick.
i still think he is around here though...
he runs a server called darkmu that hasnt ever really gone down...
like 2 years or something it has been running.

when i joined ssddss was a newb like me.i only saw one of darkavs post but yes i do no he dossed the mir server alot

He is just a selfish guy who know some programmin (btw he has an elite group around him who do the hole work for him...)
he did flame all mods and just released the stuff that where developed allready by that time (he made it couse he wan'ted to be first in everything a real noob and an ass (used to talk with him on ICQ)

Everyone is a bit of an asshole sometimes... DarkAV's sometimes were just a bit more often than most :bleh:
If you trawl back through some older posts though (meaning way back, a year and more) he used to help regularly.. but at a time when MuServer development was practically in its infancy and the only ppl (besides one or two well-known RZers) who knew more than jack about MuServer were MG Group (whom he was associated with) and a few other azn teams. From what I've seen of DarkAV, he is a perfectly civil person unless confronted with a moron (either real or imagined, usually a bit of each). As anyone who mans the holding pens of the Mu section (as helpers, mods, or both) can tell you, there's no shortage of morons in a public Mu forum :D
He's not a bad bloke, just happens to have impossible standards, and is a complete cunt to everyone who doesn't measure up. :wink_1:
