Season I and II sucks extremely compared to III.
season III finally has a decent storyline and not only awesome visual effects and random fights. Also in season I and II Yuji was nothing but a boring and needless sucker but now he is the perfect antagonist, so I think it's the best Shana season by far, at least I didn't enjoy season I and II that much.

I am watching season 3 just to satisfy myself and atleast finish this anime.
But I have to agree that this season is way too far from what season 1 and 2 had achieved before.
I hope that they (the animators) can make a twist at the middle of the season just as what they did on season 2 (the first 6-7 episodes really sucks but they changed the tide starting from episode 8 onwards and made a very satisfying season)
just watched episode 17 of this season and finally they explained us everything and why they was take this path in the season which was make it suck
At least the song is pretty amazing.

so all the mess in this season got cleared and yujji plan is to create a world for the denizens where they will live there alone in the rift and he start all this war and merge with the snake in order to do it and my guess to why the flame hazes refuse to accept this plan even if it will bring peace is becouse they afraid of distraction in the future
