My suggestion is gift cards

Then the person can pick what they want, when they want.

I dislike giftcards.
Most of the time I get a thousand giftcards to places I NEVER shop at. If you want to give me a gift card, save yourself the time, and just give me the cash.

Anyways, I got my older sister a netbook, my younger sister the new justin bieber deluxe cd x-mas version thing, my little brother battle field3 and gameboy DS games, and my mom a new dish/silver-ware set.

I'm sooo bad at gifts lol, gifts for girlfriends and stuff is easy, but the worst ones to gift are the grandparents ... I really have NO idea, maybe this thread will help me a bit.

Anyway, chocolate is a good gift for friends and stuff, basic though.

Yeah money is a bad gift, I hate it when my friends got like 500€ in total just for christmas lol

I just give them some money in a card, then they won't bitch if I get them something they dislike or they're allergic to. (I used to get stuff like that so I give up)
