[Solved] Server under examination

Sorry but i dont know what to do now, i have tried everything on the forum, been reading for 3 days now and i cannot find a solution, please any help on how to resolve this would be most appreciated. even a hint in the right direction would help alot.

- i checked and double checked odbc - used user and system sql server one, tried native client one too, dnt work
- checked my configs - used diff ip's, 127.0.0.1 seems to be the only one that work and server goes online but under examination
- used multiple clients
- changed version on the clients
- tried various other version numbers in client and config, back to 1.0.0.0 in client and 0.0.0.0 in config

i dont want the server for public use, only for lan with friends and fam, purely to mess around with, im using x-rivals files.
If any one can share some info id appreciate it, if not i dont mind il continue to play around till i can resolve this, im just out of ideas now and dnt knw where to go from here.

thanks misterbit, but i have tried an ace online client and i get the same problem
used dervi client, fallen gears client, and a few other clients including ace online client

What server FILES do you have? 2.x or ep3 or ep 3.2 or 3.3 or?

im using the x-rivals files think they 3.2 or 3.3, also tried to make a 2.x server but i seem to get the same problem. not sure what to do anymore,

how long did you wait after you started the server?

Ok change the connection from 127.0.0.1 to your local ip 192.168.xx.x in the whole configs.

for some reason my router doesnt use 192.168.xxx.xxx as its local ip, it uses 10.0.x.x, i did change it to that i get the same problem, so i changed it bk to 127.0.0.1, same problem, i waited 30 mins b4 trying to connect to the server and still same prob. the server is going online, just the same error when i try connect to the server "server under examination", i can use the atum callweb login to gain access to sql server management studio so i assume the the db side of this is all good

Can you load here ur config files please? All of them. I will take a look to 'em.

also under Each Server's IP, if i change the ip to local for the db which i tried as this " .\ACESERVER "
my field server cant connect to the IM and Pre servers, and my NPC server cant connect to the field server

ok i removed the ".\ACESERVER" and put bk the local ip for each server, but i get mixed results, some of the servers cant connect then if i restart the servers one or two cant connect but others can, however i still get server under examination, but il keep messing arnd changing ips and such till i get somewhere lol

1ST OF ALL THIS IS AN EPISODE 3.2 AND NOT 3.3. For help to this issues you will have to post it in to the episode 3.2 release.

You will make other peoples to think that this guide is fucked up because you can't make a difference between episode 3.2 and 3.3

sorry but i was messing around and been reading a shit load of threads on how to resolve certain issues and some said i should use the name of sql server instead of local ip addr, about the ip i had read a post by someone suggesting try adding the ip their, figured i try aand see if it worked

Edit: Now im getting "LogServer IOCPInit Error"

what's that for ?

this is for the odbc setting not the config...

oh i see, for some reason im getting LogServer IOCPInit Error and PreServer IOCPInit Error. i fixed these issues ages ago before posting about the sever under examination error

Edit: ok now i have resolved the pre and log server issues but according to logs, my npc server cannot connect to the field server.
