Rebecca Hailstone Photography - Depression
So I have shared other peoples websites and projects, Thought I would share mine. READ ABOUT THE PROJECT BEFORE LOOKING AT IT
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...5556867&type=3
This was a project for my Photography course in level 1. The brief was text and the photographic image. I chose to do depression as my boyfriend was going through really bad depression, and I felt helpless to do anything about it.
I photographed words about the signs of depression with a macro lens adapter. I used an adapter as it dostorts the edges of the frame, making the viewer feel uneasy, and at the stage of our relationship, that was how we felt.
Luckily he has gotten out of that and we are not very happy :)
Feel free to look around the page.

No I call it photography. I didnt post edit these, these are the RAW images. So before you try and belittle me, I would read up on how these were made.
And thank you.

After looking at the work that you have done with '7 years experience with photoshop' I really don't think you have the right to comment on someone else's work.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand!
These images are beautiful! I'm not sure why, but photographs like this are always very interesting to look at, and always send out a lot of emotion to the viewer.
I hope your boyfriend stays happy, I know how hard depression can be on people!
Re: Rebecca Hailstone Photography - Depression

Thanks mister, I appreciate you being honest about it. I'll do my best to improve. However, I still have the right to comment on other people's work, don't I? Considering they post it on these forums for feedback. Freedom of speech you know.
Have a nice day.
Re: Rebecca Hailstone Photography - Depression
Seems very depressing (the words) but nice photography anyway, nice work.
