Some questions
Hello,
SO i finally compiled the v16 clean sources...
Well, but i just have 8 .exe ...
I searched and found the .ini files in sources folders, but alot of files are missing when i compare what's in the src folder and in a ready server (that i downloaded) folder...
So, where can i find all those database and server files ? Does the server really needs all those files included in server packs of most of the tutorial to make a pserver??
Thank you for answering...

Re: Some questions
Yes they are important. You can find them in v16 ready files. :)

Re: Some questions
It gave you 8 exes and that is all it should give you; there are no databases nor ini's ...
Oh and the resource files should be in the "Resource" folder right next to your "Source" folder along with "Release" folder. All you do is simply copy & replace your old "ready" files (.exe's and resource files IF you have changed any of them). You might want to create backups of your old files if you mess the other ones up though.
And yes, you do need all (or most) of the files that are inside the resource folder. You can try to get rid of them but then something will either not function properly OR one of the exe files will crash at the start and you'll end up not being able to play at all.

Re: Some questions
Ok but it was v15 sources, so i downloaded virtuos's v16 sources,
after all is compiled it says 0 errors, 5 warnings (common linking problem on worldserver) so all should be good BUT : THERE IS NO .EXE IN OUTPUT FOLDER
Does anyone know this issue?
Thank you

Re: Some questions
check if the output is really to that folder, if not, change it (output for the .exe files)
right click on a solution, properties -> Linker -> put the path u want the .exe to save at.

Re: Some questions
^ What he said.
If you're using virtuo's source the .exe's will appear in:
C:\users\dennisr\desktop\v16 src - virtuos\output\
Yeah, it actually does create a user folder called "dennisr"
