PS: I was about to release this long ago but seeing as the old files where not being worked on I figured the interest wasn't there anymore.
Now I noticed this has changed so I thought it would be a good time to get dev going and get a section started.

These are untouched.

Don't know if he touched them or not but I know that he got the files from me.

Well if replace the textures that your client has with the ones from the sea rip most of the buttons will be english and then just edit the 'layout' script to make the text line in with the new textures.

Shouldn't be any changes, I believe my folders are a bit more organized, but the files came from him quite a while back originally. They're a decent learning material, but not much more. Stefan said he wanted credit and I didn't care, so I let him re-make the thread.

This isn't the SEA client. This is the chinese sudden attack client.

rofl. SEA is in english, but the screenshots you posted is the SA chinese client.

Yes that is right, However I don't understand why though. C# is getting better and better and now alot of new mmo companies are debating that. It gets to me. I've seen alot of what C++ can do and to be honest C# does have its limits but I personally think that it would probably really stand out.

I already uploaded it there, look before you post.

I always get the Onserver Fail!!! error, when I try to start my server out of the Server folder... Any help would be appreciated.

Nice source been messing around with it, but when I tried to translate the game the text kinda messed up.

All the text of the game is inside Sa_MSGS.gsm but if you try to replace it with a normal text editor it won't display correctly.

*Update*

Okay found a way to translate the game, basically just keep each string inside its limit, as in Nick has 4 characters, but the Chinese string has 6 you basically add 2 spaces in the end of the English string. For shorter strings you have to shorten the text as in the case of scre (score).

The only thing I took from the SEA rip was the buttons, as using the rest is a bad idea as most Interface layout is different from the current client we have and would look out of place.

But there is no problem that a bit of photoshop doesnt fix ;)

Most of the text file is translated, now I'm working on the texture based text.

Half translated files, I won't work much more at those until someone decides to release a fixed client/server that doesn't crash in almost every game/button pressed.

website you have to create one yourself if you want, launcher I saw one released somewhere in this section.

You can play public but there are some functions that aren't working.

Game shop wont work then it kind of useless everyone will use the same guns :(

@bladeCx i think we should open 1 new section to sudden attack..kindly most of us want to make this game as private game..so we can develop more easily..u should ask mental about this

Well my disk crashed because of an energy out and that was the only backup I had from the translated client.

So the translated stuff is pretty much lost if no one has and uploads the client again.

Not to bump or something.. But I'm a hardcore Sudden Attack player, so I know just how this game is suppose to function and stuff. Might be worth trying to get a section opened so we can make Sudden private servers? But we should really get a group of people and base everything on SuddenAttack North American (Nexon version) for better graphics, updated items and English stuff =)

I've tried the Nexon client and it .. kinda recognises the server, but when I try to login it gives an auth error. Managing the auth packets should make it work with the official client as the game is 90% client based.

super easy to setup a server.

a few things that must changed! (we have source so everything is possible now :D )

1.create a new version client that use user name and password or it wont confirm the access.

2.create cash shop (for now there is nothing like cash shop just normal shop with free items.)

3.adding new curency in game like gold.

4.adding a new content , maps/items/characters and more.

5.fixing some super wierd errors like when you change your client resulotion you get crash and shit loads of more problems..

also need to fix the client maximum height/with so it will fit to wide hd screens and resolutions like mine 1920x1080

use the SQL SERVER Driver instead of the MSSQL2000 sqloledb provider also put it all in "" or not, i dunno how the server reads the config file

I have a problem at the time of the database, always there when I set up the "GameServerDebug" appears at the bottom and start server appears OnServer Fail.
