Internet service providers are a joke

Recently, I've been barely able to deal with 60gb of bandwidth cap every month, so I decided to call in my service provider to cancel and switch to a better provider for the same price, and offering 300gb of bandwidth, 12mbps connection.

They were telling me bullshit about the other company for about 5 minutes, and then I finally just raged and said fuck you bitch, just cancel my service. She called her manager (at first, I thought i was going to get in trouble for raging on the phone), and the manager looked into my account said that I am a valuable customer, being with them for 6 years, and he would offer us a better service, for a better price.

Before:
$49.99 monthly
10mbps down / 512kbps up
60gb bandwith cap

After:
$17.50 monthly
32mbps down / 1mbps up
150gb bandwith cap

$30 SAVING + 75% BETTER INTERNET FOR NOTHING

What an amazing price...
We pay maybe ~$30 ish for our 30/25 line, and I thought that was already great. ($80 for tv, phone, and internet). The upload is really worth it, though.

Mine is bullshit.
It seems like everyone that doesn't deserve it has better internet than me.

My grandma: 20Mb/s, My noob cousin: 30Mb/s, Me: 4Mb/s.

I also pay like $100+ for T.V+All movie channels(HBO, Showtime, etc.), and Internet.

Like really?

A lot of cable companies have promotional deals as well where they offer actual high speed internet ($60+ / month) for a really low rate for the "first X months" of service. You can call and ask to cancel service for most because the rate went up and they'll extend it.

Anyone who pays the inflated price is shtewpid. I get 35 down 5 up for $36/month.

That is dam good...$60 AUS for only 120gb! (well for me) far out and the internet speed is dam slow here...so when I watch NBA online, it's barely clear

What's this cap nonsense? I can't imagine using the internet with a cap. Go unlimited!

Mines worse than this and I pay about £18 per month. I supposed to have anything up to 20mb/s and I get 50~60kb/s. shit, time to go rage at BT.

America apparently gets free interent and unlimited bandwidth/quota from what I hear....here in Australia, you gotta pay for your 1mb usage -_-
