will be even more difficult for a game that was released now. maybe an emulator later on.

ownedcore.com has a few talks about developing an emulator for it. But I haven't seen any releases and the thread is kinda slow. They have a private forum for the developments. (I don't know it). Give them a few months perhaps we'll see something.
If the server files get out now for SW:TOR, some lucky guy is going to make big bucks.
When they end up here, I actually see a serious lawsuit coming.
MMO devs & publishers tend to be more aggressive with lawsuits these days...

SWTOR could have gone much further without EA, EA has been highly critisized on the SWTOR forums since the game was released for several reasons, on my case, they feeded me with lies during almost 6 months telling me that my Physical Security Key was being sent, then it ran out of stock, then it was a shipping problem, then it was a paypal problem...seriously, they've made me waste time and money calling international shipping companies and paypal when that item was put to sale on my country by mistake (Portugal)...And when some unprofessional random customer support guy told me "the money you spent is not our problem" when they told me to call those entities that I've refered, then I just lost it and ended up permanently banned on EA (lol)...However, I made another account on the same moment and they didn't ban it though...a simple IP match would catch me for 'ban evading'...that's how professional EA is.Quote:

Carefull my friend, those are fake links that might contain malware or malicious files, and most of the servers there are actually Star Wars:Galaxies PreCU servers and not SWTOR. This one a good example of it - Extreme SWG - has an SWTOR header and the SWG map below...quite funny.Quote:
