As far as I know there are no new commands, the awake commands that work in v15 also work in v16/v17. Are you sure that you are GM in the game and that you typed everything correctly?

This are easy to use for those beginner GM like you. Its not done yet but basic commands are already there just download the new one if Matt gave an update for it.
