The truth about ragezone "Flyff Section" ...

Hello everybody.

I'm new here, my brother recommanded me this forum because i started working on Flyff files (trying to get into the source ect ect)...

So im posting this on here because im very disappointed, this forum is good, but it got alot of "wrong things", im here from 2-3 weeks and i only saw things like this:

1: People that only want links and things to copy+paste

2: People that stay here just for troll

3: Developers that are here, but they dont really care about helping newbies, they only care about they own servers and advertise it and show what "nice features" got their server..

4: Buggy+Bad done releases.

5: The 95% of the releases got backdoors, i dont know old ones...


6: I didnt saw a really interesting "tutorial" in the Tutorials section.


This is the impression that ragezone gave to me, this dont looks like a "development forums", this looks like a thing that dont even exist. I think it can be better, but those are personal opinions..

Hope that you guys understand me. and tell me what you think about the flyff forum of ragezone.

So instead of complaining about it, be the person that makes it better.

A developer of a top private server isn't going to help newbies compete with them. Think about it.

There are plenty of decent tutorials in the Tutorial section.

If you dont like it, do something about it. Since you have only been here for 2-3 weeks or whatever, you dont really know much. Trolls are in every forum or game, it just happens.

As for realeases. You really dont know what your talking about, since again you have only been here for 2-3 weeks, you have not seen all releases and you havent even got into the source yet to test things out.

Like Adler said. Why would an owner of one of the best flyff private server's help someone that has very little knowledge, unpatient and doesnt have a clue on what they are trying to do help a first-born "Developer" or Server Owner. It all comes with experience with how many people come and go and just fuck up and want to use you for shit.

Main reason why the developers have given up, cause new members doesn't want to learn. They want people to spoon feed them with answers and working files instead of actually trying themselves. Same questions are being asked thousands times, because they don't care to search. And usually it's some shit about "help me making a server, i be vary happehyeyey", "can someone give me working files or they doesn't understand the reply so their like " Can you help me by team viewer?"..

Not many of those anymore. The FlyFF section had a ton before, but it have gotten better.

We answer decent questions, but not crappy questions about things that only take a minute of research. Most of the newbies are wasting their own time by asking questions, cause it can be found here already. Why should a owner of a server even bother helping others to get competition anyways? Yet many seem to help if decent questions are asked.

Some are bad, some are good. Choose the releases you want to download, bad releases will always come and go. Fix the bugs yourself. Besides, there haven't been released a 100% official source since v15. If you don't want bugs, sue that and work your way up.

Look better. If you can't find anything that interest you, you're in the wrong section. There are a lot of good and decent tutorials in the tutorial section.

Totally agree, But.. There have been those who ahve asked for help after they tried themself, but they never asked the Developer/owner to make it for them, they just wanted help with what they did wrong and how to fix it. But thsoe who they asked pretty much just pissed at them.

When developers/owners (I don't mean everyone and im nto saying any names) just call those who actually want to learn things like "noob" or tell them to learn it themself. They are pathetic, They can't complain over that people doesn't want to learn anything and then not help those who want to learn something.

Truth? It's same as trying to figure out What was earlier the egg or was it chicken.
The community, provide all of the needed information to do your own thing. Coming here, after a few bottles of beer, and expect a spoon feeding from these people that wasted their life time on coding while you were having your enjoyment with beer, is just wrong!
Personally, as I see Flyff ragezone community, you can't get in to it that easy.
I was away from it for few years, no that I donated anything at all. The thing is that time, everything was clear to me, of course after months of time wasting to figure something about anything at all. Today, some people say stuff that i have no idea about (eFlyff,kFlyff and etc.). So, as i see it, you should dedicate more time reading and spending your time on it to understand.
The available fixes don't mean that this can't be done the other way, so maybe you can do it the other way and it will be better.
