Polish goverment wants to sign ACTA in 3 days (26.01.2012)
I guess the Mayans got the world's end date wrong... lol
A signing ceremony was held on 1 October 2011 in Tokyo, with the United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, Morocco, New Zealand, Singapore, and South Korea signing the treaty. The European Union, Mexico, and Switzerland attended but did not sign, professing support and saying they will do so in the future
ACTA will be effective after 31 March 2013 after everyone who will sign has signed the treaty.
It's been voted closed doors and we have no say so we all are fucked?

I fail to see the part that this is democracy, there is absolutely no one agreeing with these stupid bills.
In my beliefs, all the government is trying to do is taking our freedom of speech by using the fact that the internet violates the copyrights.

This is very messed up. I just sent in detailed information to avaaz.org and boldprogressives.org about the ACTA, and asked them to create a new campaign against it (i.e. information/petition against it/etc). Both Avaaz and BoldProgressives are big websites that helped get information out, and stop, the PIPA and SOPA. They both had petitions up on their site.
Hopefully this will help provoke them to start up campaigns against this fucked up bill.
