Hi,
Looking on methods of how x servers are able to encrypt their file, for example their whole worlds are combined togeather in a World.xpf File. This file is 701 MB, WHAT IF they want to update by adding another world map or doing a small alteration? Would they need to patch the whole world.xpf file again? Or is there a special method around this?

The patcher opens those files and modifies the internal data or adds more based on the update contents. As a simple analogy, it's like editing a text file. You can open it, modify what's in it or at the end, save the changes, and close it.
dynamic patching , it patches the files directly into the world.xpf instead of overwriting the entire file .
