Yes, the lack of transparency in the foliage shows that.
Would be nice if you could make that animation happen in game. Add it to the map like the machinery or such.
Actually, it would be really awesome if you could make a monster attack produce that effect on various map grounds. ^_^ I think that would be pretty hard, but I could be wrong.
i think, cuz of game engine, is imposible, in order to make that possible, the game should read the map as an npc in order to make it able to breake, move thing etc etc. this can be added as an animation but cant image something breaking and fixing again and again for ever ...
Not that hard to add to client but...
It might look stupid looping in ric, however in some "mind fuck" themed map it would look nice, there would be problem with syncing animation for players, PT can't do that so long animations are not welcome =P.
As a mob/boss skill, this would overlap with ground, unless you make animation go a bit up, up, up.
I like that animation, this would be nice replacement for mage skills diastrophism or maybe even new T5 skill.
for skill animation will work if each floor in game is the same, otherside this will look weird when ur over sand and ur skill brake briks
You can make animation that depends on map you are on.
Not floor but still better than nothing.
If GoF -> grass
If Dun1 -> dun floor bricks
If Ice1 -> ice cubes
...
Still lot of work.
BTW, PT support waves on water surface. Maybe we can exploit it in some way.
It was also why I thought of special attack for certain monsters. You don't often get Ice monsters in the desert and such. ^_^
