Problem with local connect

Hi all. Well i was install pw server on ubuntu 11, and ubuntu on VMware, but when i connect from win7 perfect client, i can't seen my server. So here is a question: how i can connect to my private server from win7, if server on vmware. What i need to do?:*:

In the machine, type:

ifconfig

---

now, in something beginning with eth there should be like

Code:

---

192.168.x.x

---

Set your client to that IP. (the 192.168.x.x ip)

Please though, this may not be any help to you, a SS would be good or something.

Thank's a lot dude, ifconfig help's me well. The problem was in wrong ip, that i type in server files to connect.
