List of Questions...

Hey guys,

i have a list of questions i dont get solutions for. Hope someone can give me some hints.


1. When i try to add a map to Fields.txt first i had a problem with the zone servers. I fixed it by simply kick the map into zone 0. Now that i have done that the level 20 jobchange map does not work anymore. I simply disabled the new map now by adding a ; in front of the line but still the jobchangemap isnt working. What happend ?

2. I wanted to add Albertstol, Dark Plains, Dragon Cave and the instant dungeons. I found a tutorial about adding shbd files to the server but i dont find working ones, also i dont know where to get the matching fields.txt, npc,txt etc for that. ( Thats what i tried when the first question happend ) Any source where i can get them or any other help that i can do it on my own ?

3. I tried to translate SHN files but whenever i touch them, the client says "*****.shn initialize failed" and shuts itself down. The only one that worked is the questdialog.shn but i need mobinfo.shn and iteminfo.shn also :/: Anyone has some german ones ? ( Dont want to translate all those items one by one by hand :/: )

4. How to activate the third Jobchange ? Is it only disabled because of the missing NPCs for it ( the Albertstol ones i guess ) or do i need more for that ?

5. I am missing some nifs for mobs i guess because the Leipoons are invisible. Any sources for them ?

Oh before i forgot, i know that this section is infected by egoists and people that think they are something better. I just can tell you that this forum is about learning and helping. So call me noob or whatever, i dont care. Im working with linux normally and im sure those that are calling me noob for such questions will fail by setting up servers on real OS :P: So first think about posting in this thread. All i want are answers ( the same way i give them when i read questions i can answer ) and no flaming. For flaming use the other threads in this section.

the 3rd jobchange wont work normally, you needa add a script that has been released that will require the player to kill a slime and relog to finish his jobchange, idk where's that release anymore though.
for the nifs just get them from os' client and implement them through the shn files.
and idk about german shn files, ask OMG.

Thank you :): I just treid with the gamigo client ( the nif thingy ) and i guess they dont have that nifs because they are years behind :D: downloading the OS client now :):

Ok now i have the SQL script for the jobchange lvl 100. Hope this is the correct one. But when i enter that script, i still need a quest for it right ?

@Chubby Ich bräuchte auch hilfe^^ in sachen Hauszone...

Zorno uhm, that job change is wrong, it takes a little more, plus logging out after accepting both quests could effectively allow them to learn the skills for one class, jc, then get the other classes too.
