Server system requirements

i want to open my own silkroad private server and as i understand the best and smooth server file is vsro 1.188.I need some help for instalattion and advise for Server system requirements.

Server system that i wrote below is enogh to handle 1000 player and all maps?

Proccessor :i7 920, 4x 2.66 Ghz, HT
Harddisk :2x 750 GB
Ram :8 GB
Bandwidth :5000 GB
Connection : 100mb

Also after i bought server someone can help and teach me for the installattion and some tips to make game better? Btw i can pay.

No, it's not enough. The CPU is ok, but you need atleast 16GB ram for all maps, 24GB would be even better.

This configuration is ok for a silkroad server?

Server HP DL380 G5
Processor: 2 x Intel Xeon L5420 Quad Core 2500 MHz, 12M Cache, FSB 1333
RAM: 16Gb DDR-II, FBDIMM 667MHz
HDD: 4 x 73Gb 15000 RPM
i-net: 1Gb

How many players supports this config?

Connection is low with 100 mega you can have maxim 300 players 1GB need also if you make on your personal pc this is bad @mitzaxxl depend what server cap if is 110 max around 700-800 for server problem is not CPU is RAM need alot of ram some time msql can use 9GB of ram or more.

If i upgrade it to 32 gb ram(max) , what do you say, do I have a chance to host a sro server 110-120max cap with my actual i-net connection?

And in time I want to buy the business package(1000gb) from my i-net provider.

yes 24-32 is ok.

@BadFist, If i want to handle 500 player only, what should requirements to be?
