Going for the torrent since the other takes 15 hours, and that's definitely not me internet connection.

Your right, It's not your internet connection, I mostly leave this downloads on when im sleeping, or I use a proxy from their country. which also works badly.

I just used Google Chrome and translated the site, guessed where the download button would be and dled it. Wasn't that hard.

It's easy to do. Just hadn't bothered to download it and this came in quite handy.

Not necessarily gifs but the text on the page. The images don't translate. Wish they did though haha. Would make life a shit load more easier.

Hmm we all know that chinese flyff excist, we also know it's not much of a use since it's totally reprogrammed and stuff, there are even files we still cannot acces, and neither can we use any of there models, so ye, unless you wanna play it (and can speak and write chinese) this is i unno, pretty useless?

Not true the models can be used theres 2 ways of doing it either ripping or opening the files and changing the format and works just fine you just need to find the texture for it , i know since ive done both

Even IF it's possible it's not something like 99% of this community could do. Therefore it's quite impossible, since most people keep it a lil secret how they open all the files and change them into working files for the kor/usa/enc client.

theres a few tools out here in ragezone that lets you extract the client and then you have too open the bin files with notepad and it tells you if its a dds file or o3d or sfx, so its quite possible , i dont know if them few tools are still here in ragezone or if they got wiped with megaupload but if i dont find them tonight i will reupload them

Slight problem. Chinese files have a completely different resource format, and I've never seen any tools released to extract them.

They can't be fully extracted with the tools we have, only images, monster animations and ecnrypted files, no fully textures like worlds etc..that won't even work because Chinese flyff is using a completly diffrent engine, probably version 2.0.

yes that is true , but you still can extract a lot of stuff like world models you just have to spend the hours looking for them then adding textures or take the easy way and just rip them using 3dripper for all the models character, monster or terrain wize

Yea that's true, it will take a lot of time, mm maby when I have my todo list done ill release a thread with all those editing tools in it.
