Mabbo Social *Template* release - Inc. page cache system, and fluid design.

Greetings from above,

Most of whom know me already, will realise I tend never to get a job completely done. I've not failed to live up to my habit here, either.

Some time ago, I commenced the design for a project called 'Mabbo Social'. A social-network themed CMS, it would be, for use on my retro hotel. Being side-tracked, and all - I never did complete this, and as usual, my development thread gathered dust until finally locked.

However..! With great help from Jos (Joopie), I was given a coded copy of my design from him - with hope I was going to integrate this into my coldfusion development. Again, I failed to deliver - and several months down the road, I'm still at the same little progress.

It's all good though, as here is the coded copy - with kind thanks to Joopie for 99% of it! No credits to the infamous 'TheJacob' whom I won't go into the particulars too much, but I shall say following a feud between both him and I over MSN, I was left with little desire to even speak of his name. I must stress, neither the ideas in the design, nor the code in the files are authored by anyone but myself and Joopie.

Please, should Joopie comment in this release, give him a +rep +like for his work, and not me. :P:

Your designs of sexiness are always epic as ever. Also Joopie's coding to it too what a master piece.

I love the innovation and how neat and professional the design is, but why stray so far from traditional template? Don't get me wrong, enhancing it is a definitely a step in the right direction but too much change is following in Sulake's footsteps. We should preserve the word "retro".

Oh I know, I don't like doing that. I just can't be fucked with the haters, who would come at me with something like; "It lacks creativity, try to stray away from the whole 'Habbo' theme" :P:

I know what you mean. It is nice. Nothing better than sleekness and professionalism. But imo, you should try and preserve some of the classic looks. But then again, it's your template.

Haha, totally value your opinion. I feel like designing a new, (how I would imagine to look) - 'r63 theme'. The MabboCMS I did a while ago was a 'pre-sight' into what I want to actually would like to do with a CMS. I'm probably gonna develop that on CF to improve in that sense, too. :):
