How To Add The InfoBus To Your Hotel!

Alot of people are asking how to add the infobus to the hotel well today Im going to tell you here wee gooo....


Step 1: Save this image in wwwroot/ http://www.uploadplaatjes.nl/plaatjes/8/291746.png

Step 2: you will need ads_background you can download this here!

Ads_bacground.swf

Put the swf in your hof_furni

Then download the sqls & furni data here

SQL & Furnidata

Step 3: Okay now download the room_model SQL here
Room_model

Now Run The Room Model SQL into your Database


Step 4: Create a room in your hotel that you want to use as the infobus,(this can be anyroom) and go to the table "rooms', find your room and and edit it. Set the room_model to the name of the infobus's model (model_opening)

Step 5: Reload You Emu

Step 6: Now go to the room. you will see an empty room like this

step 7: Now go to your catalogue and find room_Ads and place it in your room make sure you place it on the squere that im showing you

step 8: Ok now you will still see an empty room
type the command :furni and you will it say ads_background
click and fill in the details as shown

If you can't see the image correct

coords are

offsetx = -600
offsety = 600
offsetz = 9930

Then click the save button (phoenix 3.7.1)

now your infobus is finished! hope this helped got any questions please don't hesitate to ask :)

what does it mean by running the model sql in db you mean import it?

What do you mean with save button, I see no button
in that frame

The furni dosnt show it just shows a ph box

The most easy way to do more rooms is the following.

1. Make a 100 x 100 room!
2. Add room ads.
3. update_furni, unload, reload.
4. Blackboxes.
5. Done.

Make sure you put image in wwwroot and not in wwwroot/images

also :update_items and maybe clear cache?

You can either add or remove the bit.

If the INSERT INTO blah blah before "VALUES" is different than the columns you get an error. Which you have.

Everyone has different cms/db so if you can print screen your "columns" field in room_ads sql then I can create new SQL for you :D

People are pathetic! Simply pathetic! Why is everyone so dumb? Like no offence... This stuff is simple, it's not rocket science. I learnt all this in the click of a finger, on my own! If you're using Phoenix Emulator, all you need to have is the image ready and the room model ready, once you have that, then all you need to do is use the room background furni and put in the information, like the image link and then do the coords... :sleep:

Please NOTE this only works with phoenix.. If your trying on another EMU Do not follow this Tutorial as it will not work! Sorry I didn't put in desc

Makre sure you placed the ads_background swf in hof_furni

I'm using phoenix,
sql's work and swf is in hof_furni

Furnidata is there also

works perfecly ish, if no ones in the room and u leave u have to redo the settings on the ads_background. thanks for the tut! and cmon guys give him some credit for this! its really easy tbh!

Also I had the same problem a couple of times, Make sure you :update_items

Clear cache,reload

And it will stay after a short time :)

tar for that fix, is annoying when u have to reload it :L but nice relase mate, you should do other bus images for like events and monthly, like for feburary a valentines. august a summer themed one. but thanks anyway!

oh if people are getting the black box error or if its erroing in the catalog change the sprite id in the furniture table in database to 3996
then update items and catalog, clear cache, reload, should work then

where the heck can i find my wwwroot?

if its xampp its the htdocs folder. the wwwroot is for IIS :)

it dosent work :/ after i :update_items and unload when coming back to the room nothing happening

i got it to work but there is 2 tiles that shows.

Everytime I leave room the bus disappears.

if XAMPP,where to put the image?

You have to add it.

Shouldn't you clear your cache after adding it? Then it should work... At least that's what you need to do when you add other furni, if you can't see it.

The best way to get the image to work without clearing your catche is to add it save the image to your swfs and just link it from there if that doesnt work then clear your catche after
