I'll give it a try. They said on the trailers who totally don't like MMO'S will love this.
As far as I have seen (+/- 2 hours of footage), it's loaded with references to GW 1, definitely worth playing that first imo.
This game is the best that could happen to mmos. Game changing.

Play the first one until GW2 comes out if you've got the cash to spare. It's one of the best games I ever played. And I've played A LOT of games.

No Guild Wars 2 beta invites have been sent out as yet, more news to follow this week. There are plenty of scam sites and links floating around out there -- be careful! This is the only legitimate Guild Wars 2 Facebook page. ~RB2
I've seen an abundance of those scam sites, it's a shame.
Though I'm happy that the invites haven't been sent out yet. As weird as that sounds, it means I haven't not been invited :P

You know, after watching a lot of the videos, I don't think I'd really be too interested in gw2... I mean, its cool and all, but maybe I just don't want to play anything other than the "traditional mmo" right now.
Either way, EVE has got me really interested.
