I would suspect he is hitting Dmg Cap. Knights, Pikes and Archers do it all the time on official servers, and I've know them winging about having to take off just enough kit not to cap.
500 is about the damage you do if you have been capped. IMS

Its not the damage that i am talking about..
Its about the fact that the skill only hits one time, when it have an animation and effects of trowing 3 javelins..
I tried to use the beginner's luck on this one but i failed :z (but i learned how to translate a skill description and also how to switch positions of skills (like, making the second skill of the tier to become the third or first XD)..
Worst than that (i know nothing of programming..), i tried to edit the m2-motion9.smb to make the Atalanta to perform a double front flip before trowing a single javelin, because (i could not make the skill hit 3 times, on the code...), (i even saved in .max if somebody wants to see XD.. i added the double front flip to make the Atalanta to do something on the time that she would be trowing the other javelins, so she goes up a little slower, but flipping and then trow the javelin..) but when i replaced my edited on top of the original, nothing happened, i even deleted all m2-motionX.smb's and not even then, nothing happened, all normal *_* , but then i deleted the m2.smb and the char would not load (so i figured that all animations (Atalanta's) are on the m2.smb), but the m2.smb when converted just gives some animated invisible dots..
The only good thing on this one is that i learned that when "øP‹A ¯Â" is close to "ÑtÁëƒÁ" , and with "$P‹D$$" on top and below, there is a high likelihood of "à^ËIl…É„µ"...:lol: (just joking, but for me it is amazing to have changed something 'on the code' hehehehe.. for me its like that stuff from Matrix :P:)

I think that this skill was simply nerfed. It would do same damage as pike's CS but it would be AoE attack... simply saying, pike's CS vs all. Ata could kill few peoples at time.
So dmg was changed but description not. Notice that is saying atk rtg % not dmg %.
Other thing is that official PT is not balanced.
In first part of video when ata hits low lvl mobs from far away and do no dmg:
It's kind of bug. After dmg you can start running to mobs not away from them and dmg will be calculated. Try doing same thing but let mobs see you first.

About the range i would not bother much, but, the damage would not be so high, i tested it with lvl 10 and the only single hit does not much more damage than a lvl 10 Vengeance single hit (sometimes, even less *-*).. Area damage skills does a lot less damage than x1 damage skills (at least on Atalanta).. so it would deal a lot less damage than the CS, and, in my opinion, it is the 'Vanish' that kills, not just simply the CS.. (like Boromir would say, "One does not simply CS, he would have to Vanish first" XDD).. And it have a lot of delay, so the Atalanta would not be overbuffed if the skill had 3 hits, because if the player invests on this one (would be like a area 3 hitter vengeance with a little more damage on each hit) the player would have to let vengeance at a low lvl or even not buy vengeance.. I think it would probably kill an archer or a lower lvl player on 1/3 to 1/2 of the cases, but not in one hit, so the enemy could pot between hits, etc.. in an archerXatalanta, if the Atalanta miss the first or second of the (fixed) X-Rage, the archer would most probably kill her (and if the X-Rage did not kill, she would be a lot weaker during the skill's delay, because she would be without a high lvl Vengeance).. i think that for this skill to kill an archer, the Atalanta would have to shoot ice on the archer, use another skill and then use the X-Rage.. Even then the archer could kill the Atalanta, with 2 hits of the Phoenix Shot (or even one sometimes)..

I was sure this used to hit, and sometimes knock back 1 or two mobs "nearby" the target as well as what you aimed for. (the nearby being your 3 hits, but not 3 on 1 target) I do remember it stopped being useful though. As if they either felt it was "overpowered" or it caused problems with something else. (possibly both if Dmg X3 causes over Dmg)

Mm.. Have you got a game.exe in which the X-Rage does 3 hits?
I don't think it would reach a damage cap, since the pikeman's CS never reaches it (at least here)..
When i put the new 'one-hitter' animation (and particle effects) on X-Rage i would probably raise the damage though (since it hits just one time..), but the damage will be for people to decide, if they want to use the new animation..
About the knocking back, i think that is a very good idea to add it to a Archer skill, with a big knock back (not huge, but something annoying to a melee who would try to get closer to the archer) the archer would gain extra time i think..

I have no idea. I thought one of the auto-mouse protections was 1-click = 1 health decrement, and no more. But I also think you can see 2 hits from Windy.
None of my characters ever come close to capping, but I know that my step-son would cap at level 1 Grand Smash. XD

Correction, I wouldn't know how to tell if they where capping. Where my step-son did PvP and knew what skills should do what, where I just keep clicking the skill I know kills a certain monster quickest. Also, I usually tank, so I don't care how long it takes to kill, only how many high levels I can stand without potting.
I do know that any skill over tier-2 is usually less damage than the T2 skills... so maybe most of them cap. IDK
