[Release] MuCore Vote for Credits Module - Includes Manual
So we took the time to finish up this. Nothing fancy, its just a cool vote for credits made for MuCore.
Includes a simple but detailed manual with pictures.

Note: If you get an error when clicking on vote and then can't load the page. the fix is simple, check the information in the file named "Template Fix" inside the folder; you'll see how to work around this error. Once you do this template fix part, not only will vote for credits work but templates from 1.0.6 will work on this version :):
Please read the entire information before posting things like "how to install?" it's already in the manual!

Hi ppl. i cant make this work. i always get up in the URL the generated ID and doesnt redirect me to the right link.
I've run the scripts on the MuOnline database but when i insert the needed code in my templates index.php it makes my whole page go wrong - it shows as blank.
I am using Xampp. Can it be that i have to edit something in my Xampp configs ?

To the rest of you guys; doing this kind of things requires patience, grey matter, a little bit of website and muonline knowledge. Saying everything doesn't work without checking the configurations that you made or simply not knowing what's required to make this work doesn't mean this is useless.

just paste the certain code in the front of <!DOCTYPE etc... and do not press enter everything would be fine...

It works for some friends but for others don't

for does who got error with mssql connect... try downgrading you php to php 5.2, tutorial? click here
then enable your mssql extension in php.ini ";extension=php_mssql.dll" to "extension=php_mssql.dll"

So guys i tryied this Modul and seems not work for me i did everythink i should do i read the instructions none errors its just when i click on the vote link then load page move to the ID of the vote link but dont load it .. its still stays at the vote reward and dont give credits what about this issue ? i mean it dosnt redirect me to xtremetop100 or other links i put ... somebody knows how to fix that ?

easy, i dont have the time now, but a single query can do this....something like:
$sql= "SELECT TOP 20 "A" FROM "B" ORDER BY "C" DESC";
where:
A = nae or ID, depends on how it's saved.
B = table name where votes are stored.
C = column name for vote quantities storage.
and, of course, you'll need to make a context for this.
maybe in this week i'll make something like this & share it.

When I click vote it just reloads the page, if i click vote again it redirects me to a wierd url and doesn't take me to the extremetop100 page - it logs the IP but doesn't add the credits??

it works, but it add the credits even if u dont vote, it adds the credits when u press vote in the website, not when u really have voted in xtreemtop100( for example)

maybe a stupid question but ...
when i connect using ODBC my website is working
when i try using MSSQL i get an sql connection error (the mssql extension is unabled at php.ini) so that isnt it
with ODBC the host is like
$core['db_host'] = "127.0.0.1";
what about mssql ?
$core['db_host'] = "127.0.0.1"; or $core['db_host'] = "hostname"; ?

This is pretty simple open sql scripts in sql execute them. Put the modules where they need to go. Add the model on user_cp and check your admincp and it should all work out for you.

i done that already and it is working, but i can`t see menu for vote for credits. In "How to Install.chm" is under Premium Modules. But in admincp i can`t see Premium Modules :)

In the first line of my index.php of mucore 1.0.8 and the page does not load, the version of my xamp is 1.7.3, and I have read all the post and many have the same problem:
