for some reason my photoshop CS has reverted to an old setting and the colours have become dull i tihnk it might be my new image settings. can anyone post what they use e.g. RGB 8bit something like that. thanks in advance!

you mean that the Picture get darker inside Photoshop or you just cant use all colors ?Quote:

This may asound stupid, but checked your monitor settings?
when its back my usual favortie settings are RGB 16-bit and 400*100 or 350*120.
