Coming from a Hardcore Robotech fan (one of my favorite anime of all time) I decided to give macross frontier a chance, so I watched the series and movie (the wings of goodbye) I was shocked in awed of how stupid the series was, it felt like I was watching a Japanese music video. No character development and your cliche anime love triangle dispute. I could go forver but....

i've been wanting to watch this one, is it really that bad?
