Fuck me! those are huge lmao!!! Anyway yeah I would move the speakers, but I guess the beauty of having a sink in your room you don't need to get outta bed for a piss? just push hard!

Unlike penis size, speaker size doesn't matter, well mostly it doesn't.
Personally i wouldn't want 2 of those, all they do is make noise, what i want is real quality, my brother and dad for example each got a pair of speakers that cost like 4000 euro new (i think the guy they bought them from had them fallen of a truck if you know what i mean ;)), those are 120 watt each and can blast you away, yet give you an amazing sound, on top of that they are also quite small.
So although i'm sure you will enjoy them, imo they are pretty crap, they are made to produce lots of noise but never were created to really give a good quality sound.
Those are big !Damn Man !
agreed.Quote:

And on top of that, if you go to the max with those 120 watt speakers you will have the cops on your door in no time (atleast here you do as there are laws that limits a certain volume), with those on max your dad will run up your room and beat you to death... seriously you have alot of power which you can't use, it can only be used properly in a big space, which is isolated well, isn't near anyones home and has something like spikes under the speakers.
Actually, the sound quality is very nice on them, theres very little difference between my home theater setup and these PA speakers, and talk to any audio expert, they'll tell you pissy small drivers suck for producing sound, they're only made small to blend into peoples homes, not to produce great sound, where the home speakers will struggle and start distorting at low volumes the PA speakers will carry on letting you push them harder with very little or no distortion.
So what if he has a sink in his room? I used to have one in my old flat. pwnage.
Anywho, back to the speakers: WHY?
Well.... Ok.... I bought the speakers because once I have a couple more thousand together to buy more of what I need i'll be going into doing mobile partys and such, lol
Just can't let them sit there being unused now can I?.....
Put Distortion on, Turn up volume and try playing something and record the sound for us.
no.Quote:

That's because home theaters sets are shit, yes even the so-called best, and the fact that you clearly think that set is abit better i'd say those speakers are shit.Quote:

Guy i know has stereo equipment of about 150.000 euro, and pretty much all his stuff is older then 10 years, he has a bass speaker, and mid range speaker and a electrostatic "speaker" which works as high tone range speaker (that stuff is way better then regular speakers), all the speakers were probably like 15.000 euro, and those 2 electrostatic ones probably another 10.000 euro, and with a self build casing, which beats pretty much any casing on the market, simply because that casing would be a disaster for normal people as the way it's shaped and all is crap, but hey gives the best result.
That guy truely knows what he is talking about, and he hasn't even got the best of the best, but that's some serious stuff.
What you got there is some junk that you can buy from any local shop, like i said those speakers are just to make noise, but there is no actual quality there, sure it sounds pretty good, but once you sit in a perfectly symetric room like that guy had, with nothing but a couch in it and the stereo, and the speakers perfectly place to give the best sound it can give, that you actually think there are speakers behind the couch because it gives such a full sound, then you know that everything else is just shit.
Trust me, you don't know even a tenth from what you think you know, and you don't have to, but just accept that those speakers are pretty shit and that size does NOT matter, well unless you are talking about extremely small speakers, but there are speakers half the size of that which produce 5 times the volume and quality of those.
Gohan just because them speakers look old and have no name on them, doesnt make them shit. Actually older speakers are better, because more time and effort was put into making them. My guitar amp is about 30 years old and its still working fine - some of my friends with newer amps have replaced them already
electrostatic speakers make a nice sound, but thats it.... the volume on them is pathetic as is the frequency response, true home theater subs would shake them to pieces.... as would high powered PA speakers, why do you think they never took off? because they aren't worth it.
They are still extremely popular, however they aren't popular for bass or mid ranged, they are indeed crap for that, but he is using regular speakers for that, which i said, so read what i say.
Who said anything about old looking? They look brand new to me, and they also look extremely cheap, hell they are probably extremely cheap.Quote:

Who said old ones can't be better? I sure as hell didn't, i personally use speakers of about 25 years old, if not older, they are great, mind you though that it doesn't mean everything new is bad, but unless you pay some serious money then it's pretty much all junk.Quote:
