I think that the bottom one would suit a pose like this Browsing deviantART
or like this Browsing deviantART better

Try replacing with this character. You will probably need to change the background colour. Im not 100% sure this will make it better, so just have a play around.

I prefer this to the original! Much better. The smudging goes with the action.

Don't really get what it is. For me, I mean is that in the first post (topic), there is two sigs and I like the 2nd one than the first one.

Edit:if im already posting here on this topic again, my suggestion to you is, smudge parts of the render, so it will blend with the overall smudge. NEVER smudge the head and dont smudge the body too much.
Edit2:dont change the render's mode.

I like the first one way better ^^
The second one, is just too simple, I really liked the "dont stare" xDD
Try makking a copy of the BG and put some gaussian blur onto it and change the blending mode and/or opacity

I like the first one (top) It looks more simple and the colours go together well.
