Hello Ragezoner's!:)
My server is runing, the pw admint say : All is online.
But my clien can't see the server...no ping. I edited the serverlis...it's correct.
I tried with a port checker check my ports, ad he sad:
Port 29000 is closed on xx.xxx.xxx.xx.
What can i do now?:)
check your glinkd/gamesys.conf
you want the ip of the section with port 29000 to be set to 0.0.0.0
still nothing. :(
if you used router set your port forwarding
in the router are the ports opend
the port checker sad: Port 8080 is open on XX.XXX.XXX.XX
BUT Port 29000 is closed on XX.XXX.XXX.XX
This is a Ubuntu 10.04

well like say Hycker use the DMZ for your local ip and the port is open, but you have to search info about your modem/router/modemrouter because some routers can't be configured.
I have exactly the same problem, I can open ports 8080 and 80 but not 29000. I'm using VirtualBox and Ubuntu 10.04. The problem apparently is ubuntu, that I try to open the port 29000 of windows in the same way and opens perfectly. Already use UFW and firestarter. :/
