What's better or you? Buried or being cremated?!
Honestly, I'd rather have my ashes in a coffin, so then the bugs can't eat me.

I'd prefer to be Cremated so my ashes can be spread along an ocean or something, or if I have enough money pay to be Cremated and have my ashes launched into Space :thumbup1:
My Grandpa wanted to be Cremated too, so when he died he got Cremated and my Grandma spread his ashes along her Flowerbed.
Imagine if someone else from your friends/family related died on a young age. Then most of the time they wont know it.
Personally I want to be buried. How can bugs eat me if I'm in a steel and stainless coffin? :P
Go with cremated - don't fancy the idea of being buried, a decomposing corpse.
From dust to dust.
Cremated for sure. I don't want people to feel the need to have to come visit my grave at a specific spot.
I'd rather be cremated cause I wouldn't wont my body just rotting away in a casket as my body disintegrate to dust and I'm just bones.
Definitely buried!
If zombie apocalypse breaks out I don't wonna be left out. :)
I would like to be cremated when I die.
Mainly because I don't want to become bug food and I want my loved ones to always have me.
I don't want to become one of those graves that are solo'd out in a cemetery with the other graves that have been long forgotten with no flowers or anything.
If I was in a jar, at least I'd still be by my family and maybe a part of me spread out somewhere of my choosing.
But overall, defiantly cremated.
I want to have my own spot, where I can rest quietly. Buried.
"I would request my body, in death, be buried not cremated, so that the energy content contained within it gets returned to earth, so that flora and fauna can dine upon it, just as I have dined upon flora and fauna throughout my life" ~ Neil deGrasse Tyson everybody.
It would be funny when we have the technology to revive the dead and I rise from the dead while all of you still dead..(I choose buried)
I'd rather be buried, Thus way I'd be buried with family and rest peacefully.
Even if I lay there and rot at least I'd be somewhere where people would remember me by.
I'd want to be in a coffin floating around space.
Cryogenically frozen is my first choice.
Buried along side family. I don't like the idea of being burnt to a crisp as much as some people don't like the idea of decomposing over time. At least with decomposition its a slow processes.
I don't plan on dying though, gonna get super rich and when we're able to transfer conciousness into AI i'll be the first in line :thumbup1:
Frozen. So they can revive me in 1000's of years.
The idea of being buried scares me tbh ... You don't know what comes after death, but I think being cremated is less of a risk, cause when you're buried you ARE stuck in a place with just enough space for your body.
I wouldn't say this is a debate, therefore I am moving it to the OW and putting a poll with it.
Moved from Debate to Outerworld.
My dad has been tellin' me this, he wants to be cremated because when we see someone being carried to the grave yard and usually there are lots of people following, it's always rainy, if not sunny, and your relatives won't have to visit your grave when it's your anniversary, just at home and celebrate..
I rather be cremated than to go rot in a coffin.
You do realize that your coffin does decompose over years, so either way you'll get eaten by creatures. I'd rather be cremated as I don't like the thought of having my flesh torn off by cockroaches and maggots etc. They don't go for ashes as much.
Cremated. It's cheaper.
