I would like some ideas here .... I kinda ran out of ideas. What items should I add from minecraft? The text background doesn't match the theme , but than how to display the text. Etc. By the way its not ready yet , its just what it going to be look like.

I was sleepy , and was in hurry , I may change it later. I thought I'll make it Rage Craft but I saw someone made a thread already so I renamed it.

Wow i love the background it looks so unique and original. I love the buttons and the Logo it looks so minecraft-ish and really fits in. The news part is the best as it looks like its on a minecraft sign so it links into minecraft. Overall it looks very good and well made.

I'm only favorite of the logo, sorry.

Could I code this?

This looks alot better, maybe add player count to somewhere?

Because usually when players come, they want to see how many people are online o_O

I said its not ready. What I am interested in is how to deal with the "latest news" text , because it doesn't match no matter what i do.

first ideea: do like an old school rugged scrool background and make it extra embed :D like it is now and see how that go's

Second ideea: ore do like a big chest opened and in the top bit the news and on the chest like the copyright ?:S ore some buttons duno =))

An other idea is to look for other designs. Just find some other minecraft official servers or via Deviantart. ;)

I have a great idea but it isn't really designing-wise.
You could animate those characters on top so they could move around and make the website interesting and not dull.

That would take another year to complete the template. Because I never modeled and/or animated anything 3D in my life. It's never too late to start though.

This design lacks on so many levels.
Why do people who create minecraft sites use the same basic design over and over and not even very well. Why this may sound like tooting my own horn the amount of possibilities should see so much more in regard to sites for minecraft.

Now to your design V3,
The overall concept is a good idea but sadly not well executed. Trying to stick and use to much minecraft based graphics has left the design looking low quality. The size of the blocks would also greatly improve if they where reduced in size. This would create the border to be smaller take up less room and keeping content the focus.

The Donation Box could have been better placed on the header image in the area on the right hand side of the zombie. Also the diamonds [i think they are I dont play the game] do not really need such a large contrasting back shadow.
