Awesome program. I'm currently reading through the last book. I think I personally prefer the books to the program due to the characters thoughts. You only get to hear what they say to each other in the program, which tends to give me a different impression of the same characters.
The deviations from the books are starting to annoy me too. I get that it's so the people who have read the books still want to watch the program, but idk, it just feels wrong.
Aye, Book are always going to be different. But you got to learn to differentiate. Books are books mate. Full of exact detail and TV Shows/Movies are a visual/audio experience. They shall always differ.
As for the show, I absolutely fucking love it. I think the way it's done is brilliant. Fight choreography is great, i love the cast...storyline, etc. It's simply a great show. HBO always offers the highest quality in their programs and it truly shows.
Right now, I love how many storylines are on-going. Jon Snow with the Night's Watch, Arya's little battle to remain undetected, Theon Greyjoy going in a direction I didn't foresee. Rob Stark. Tyrion Lannister, the imp.
I agree, the series are awesome, I haven't read the book but my parents have, and they still love the series and watch every episode when it comes out.
I heard that there's a mmorpg coming out for Game of Thrones, going to be interesting to see how it turns out (most likely bad, like most things of this sorts).
I fucking love the imp lol. He represents the comic relief for the entire series lol. It's excellent.

It's a fantastic book, it really goes into much more detail of what the characters are thinking, which they can't show on the show. Plus a lot more happens which has been cut for the TV show.Quote:
