[Movie] The Woman in Black
Umm just finished watching "The Woman in Black" 2012 version..and hoooly jebus.
One of the better scary movies I've seen in a long time. The movie was wound so tight there was constant suspense.
Anyone else seen this flick?

Re: [Movie] The Woman in Black
I've seen it. Expected more from a horror movie , but wasn't the worse I've seen though.
Re: [Movie] The Woman in Black
My friend always mistakes the title and since he's only seen part of it he always asks me if we can finish watching "The black woman".
Re: [Movie] The Woman in Black
Yeah, it's not your typical "horror" flick. I just like all off the small extras that the eye may or may not catch. I'm a pretty big fan of horror movies, and this was just made differently.
That's what made it creepy for me.
Re: [Movie] The Woman in Black
I just can't watch this movie and not think "Oh, that's harry potter!'
Re: [Movie] The Woman in Black
Honestly...
That's exactly what I was thinking. Trust me, it makes up for it.
Re: [Movie] The Woman in Black
I really didn't like that movie. I just can't take Harry Potter seriously.
Throughout the movie, he remains casual and keeps cool even while crazy scary stuff is happening.. as a rule of thumb, if you look out your window and see little zombie girls, it's time to leave. I don't care who you are. Little zombie girls = you dying a horrible gruesome death.
I would have been out of there right when that monkey figurine thing started moving around all demonic-like. It didn't phase Harry Potter. He almost had this demeanor of "Pfft, zombie children, freaky-ass rocking chairs from hell, children dying left and right? I'm Harry Potter, I'm used to this sort of thing. I dealt with moaning myrtle and Sir Nicholas the headless horsemen so many times in Hogwarts that this sort of thing doesn't even phase me."
He's too unafraid. it's freaking out and screaming at him in ear-shattering tones, and he handles it smooth and casually, as if he's handling an ordinary baby.
That's the main reason why I thought that movie was dumb. Plus Harry Potter drinking liquor is just ridiculous.
Re: [Movie] The Woman in Black
I totally agree with you when you say it was wound so tight, and that's what I think makes the film so good. As for the story line, well that sucks.
I can't really take Daniel Radcliffe seriously as anyone other than Harry Potter though. :$:

Actually most of sucky horror movies are made the same. They never run from whatever chase them , they insist to get into the dark , and the scary character doesn't look so scary when its visible. Movies like this they should hide the "monsters" faces. Would make it better , and have added a little mystery to it too.

What's with the ending anyway =/ I understand the never forgive part, but damn that's just cruel. :*:

Same! I have seen this and it's pretty good, I believe Daniel Radcliffe gives the atmosphere a little more power.

Haven't watched this movie yet, can't bring myself to see Daniel as anything else than a teenager wizzard anymore
Re: [Movie] The Woman in Black
He actually was pretty good. The movie script was bad not him.
