Everytime you do the updates. It limts what u can put on it. Like if u have a old version update one you can put roms and such on it. But with the new updates they closed it from working. :/

umm...roms are kinda...ILLEGAL!
They have to or else the other companies would be on their asses for not stopping it...and with a 1GB memory card you can hold down any of the psp games that are out at the moment (so you should understand why they need to keep updated).
ahm, lil question over here , how can i get my MP3's from CPU 2 PSP ?
You must convert the mp3's to mp4 if i'm right... I don't have a guide but if you google it you'll find it

with the new update (2.0) it can support all types now and how u transfer them is simple connect the psp to your computer an (f) drive will pop up opn the psp folder and it should have "MUSIC" folder just stick them in there
and for movies you have to put those into the mp root folder
2.0 sucks 1.50 ftw
well if you are too cheap to buy the games then dont use the updates.
id rather have a better overall GUI interface/ fully featured firmware, then play a couple of free games.

eheh well i'm one of the few guys that bought the Jap version , so i'm kinda stuck on updates ;) since i cant use the Eur/Us updates , which sucks
in the mean time 1gb or even 2gb Memory Sticks Owns for any cough cough "Backup Disc" you got :P
the 2.0 updates are multi region..
But if you have a 1.50 i fail to see the point in upgrading
i too bought mine from japan and i hav'nt updated and dont plan too because it will save so much money being able to use roms, because everything is ridicusly overprised

p.s.: the 1gb-2gb Sticks are sooo cool :P , the only problem i had with my psp was that i couldnt use US-Eur games which sucked

download the update
then go to america psp site and go through there manual
2.00 rules you have then a internet browser
do i need a special cable ~ ?? to get teh MP4's on PSP?
you need a usb to put anything from cpu to psp
a normal usb cable ?o_o" i have ...buts its too big to put in the PSP
