What is the point of this though, is it going to go on your work/finished product that your going to share with us or something?

its a showcase y'know.
its really nice but the knob doesnt look like a knob really, it looks to flat[like, not long enough] so you cant really spin it, not that realistic but really nice, those tuts do only good.
edit:
i recommand you switch from imgur, since it makes your quality a bit more lq, which is very annoying. i suggest imageshack, just dont forget to turn resizing off.

To show his progress. Doesnt matter if it has no point/from a tutorial, it is the point that he is showcasing his work, looking for tips on how to improve!

Yes, it's great that you're learning, and progressing, but ANYONE can follow the tutorial and come up with exactly what you did.

Why not use your newly acquired skills to make your own work, then show THAT off so we can tell you how awesome it is.

There's nothing wrong with outcome from tutorial. It's a design, which belongs in this section.
