I should've posted this earlier.. as many of you know, a few days ago Hurricane Katrina struck areas of Florida, Missippi, and most of all New Orleans.
85% of New Orleans was submurged underwater, there was mass looting, fires, this is one of the worst disasters in American history. The city will take 5 years to rebuild, let alone six months to even consider entering.
Gangsters are shooting at the police and at the military, they even have shot at the helocopters sent to rescue the innocent victims of the hurricane.
I know some of you will say "it's Bush's fault, 90% of those deaths could've been avoided if he had agreed to fixing the levy." Yes, this is true, all of those deaths could have been avoided, but consider what would happen if this were happening in your own country.
The point I'm getting at is, these people are dying and they need help. People are dying in the streets, many are already in a critical condition because no supplies have gotten to them.
What I'm trying to say is, you can make a difference by perhaps donating some money to the Red Cross, who are trying to get supplies to these people and hopefully save lives. The Red Cross is non-profit, so all of your money will go to these people.
Donate Now!
I know a lot of you will probably just blow this off, but before you do, think about some of the people down there and the situation they are in, and try to put yourself in their shoes. They may never be able to return to their homes.
