How to set up RevCMS 4.0

RevCMS 4.0 - Guide

Section 1 - Downloading
1. Navigate to the RevCMS 4.0 release thread. http://forum.ragezone.com/f353/revcm...ed-mvc-853682/
2. Extract to your root folder; (Xampp: htdocs) (IIS: wwwroot) (Nginx: www)

Section 2 - Database configuration
1. Navigate the the Configs/PlainPHP folder
2. Open Site.php and edit the following variables:

$CONFIG['site']['url'] = 'http://localhost/'; # Hotel's URL # $CONFIG['site']['name'] = 'Habbo'; # Site's name #

3. Change the URL variable to your hotels URL
4. Change the 2nd variable to your Hotel name.

Section 3 - Database configuration
1. Navigate the the Configs/PlainPHP folder
2. Open Database.php and edit the following variables:

$CONFIG['DB']['driver'] = 'SQL_MYSQLi'; $CONFIG['DB']['mysql']['host'] = 'localhost'; # MySQL host # $CONFIG['DB']['mysql']['user'] = 'root'; # MySQL username # $CONFIG['DB']['mysql']['pass'] = 'lol123'; # Mysql password # $CONFIG['DB']['mysql']['database'] = 'mcd'; # MySQL Database # $CONFIG['DB']['mysql']['connType'] = 'pconnect';

3. Change the 1st variable to your selected database type (SQL_MySQLi, SQL_MySQL, SQL_MsSQL, NoSQL_Mongo)
4. Change the 2nd variable to your host name.
5. Change the 3nd variable to your user name.
6. Change the 4nd variable to your pass word.
7. Change the 5th variable to your database name.
8 Change the 6th variable to your connection type (connect, pconnect)

You have now set up RevCMS 4.0!

i get an IIS error Server Error

500 - Internal server error.

There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

What is RevCMS 4?
RevCMS 4 is a total fix of RevCMS 3 leak I posted a few days ago. Me and Makarov have spent a while going through Rev 3 cleaning it up and fixing errors that people have been having. All errors should be fixed so everything should be working perfectly.

I still can't get used to RevCMS 4.0, but it's good that you make this tutorial because a lot of people can't seem to digure out how to configure it ;P
