Re: Delight Flyff website
No decorations ... no nothing.
Re: Delight Flyff website

Re: Delight Flyff website
Thats not a bad looking design at least i apreciate something that someone has worked hard on.... Instead of finding mistakes all the time.

The BG header was based on that, the rest was just going according to what I thought.
When you inspire on something it somehow turns a little similar
I've seen that kind of nav bar in tons of designs and decided to use it there.
Thanks for the feedback
Re: Delight Flyff website
1. The top part:
Pretty basic but it looks cool, could be needing a texture and hover text color
2. the background:
u should expand the background also under , doesnt have to be 1 picture , just having a certain texture or untrafficked background would do.
3. News & updates:
Could be needing a certain text devider , those things that come upon every single text box, i have no clue how they are named.
4. Overall-layout:
Nice, beauty and good.

navigator, positions, slideshow, the arrows/buttons, layout, bg.
Lack of creativity that's what I can tell about this design.
Re: Delight Flyff website
Only thing that i don't like this is the Offline text, because you should make it more lighter and smaller like the rest of the text...
And you should make the left and right side of the background to fade to totally white background, because now it would look stupid if you would code it...
This is already alot bette design than the one you sended me earlier, you are really advancing :P

Where do you want to put the boxes in a webpage? All on the right?
They are all centered and no, arrows and buttons aren't there as they are in your design.
The only thing that is inspired in your design is the header and maybe the nav bar. The slider... Wow, wanna put a slideshow at the bottom of the page so that no one really sees it?
It's not lack of creativity, it's organization -.-
Also, please stop it here. I don't wanna start an argument over this

Seems like you are getting mad because I am pointing some valid arguments about your design, if you can't take care of cc than dont bother posting your work here. I won't post here anymore, you don't really need to reply to my post. Just read, realize that my arguments are valid and just ignore what I'm saying.
Re: Delight Flyff website
As I said above , no decorations at all. Gaming sites are all about fancy decorations and cool textures , that's what it makes it look like a "gaming" site. It's not enough to just throw renders all over and its done.
And the box titles , that's it? Just a shadow under a oversized text? Well that surely makes it look like a title ... but frankly .. its ugly. The only thing in the user panel that is right , is the 2 buttons. The rest are oversized , or too tiny. Again the Copyrtight on the footer oversizes the whole page. How many sites you seen with the copyright text larger than the content text? More corners pls , decorations , fancy gradients , add something to it man xD

Saying "This and that are on my design, you lack creativity" ain't CnC.
If you think like that every design is a copy of other, because they all got buttons, they all got boxes and so on.
With your experience in webdesign you can tell that sliders are better and look better in the top of the content boxes. You should have also realised that a content box with news in the middle of two boxes looks more elegant -.-'

I agree with you, even thought this was just a test I didn't even mean to put text on it.
Borders and decorations aren't my thing yet, I need more experience with pen tool and that kind of stuff. Also what kind of textures could be used here?
Re: Delight Flyff website
I cant answer you that. You have to be creative on that part , I usually go for old paper textuers , and cement , and concrete , and cracks. But its all your choice as long as you can make it blend and look beautiful
