[Share] Ubuntu with integrated 1.4.5 server
Butthurt: very bad english translation
I won't write many words, immediately to the subject:
This is Ubuntu 10.10 installation disk. OS has 1.4.5 server installed, you should only change passwords, ip`s and datafiles to run it. Originally created from vmware image of guy called Nooo
Additional packages:
-Wine 1.3.9
-Crossover 10
They will help you to run about a half of the editors (for example, sELedit works correctly) Client won't run on wine 1.3.9, update the whole system to 11.04 and install wine 1.4 if you want to do this.
Default user is defaultuser
All the passwords are 12345
If you don't want to waste RAM on gui:
1) You can press Ctrl+Alt+F1 and jump to console mode
2) In grub select "recovery mode", than "root shell"
3) In /etc/default/grub you can change GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="smth" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="text", than execute update-grub. (I dunno how will it work)

Thanks people from Pwdev for testing, thanks Kliker for scripts of shutting down.
Waiting for feedback and error messages.
PS: I also have the same release for 1.3.6, contact me if someone need it

Re: [Share] Ubuntu with integrated 1.4.5 server
Works fine as far as I can tell :) I've seen no web apps for pwAdmin or iweb, unless I missed it somewhere :) I've added pwAdmin, and am getting it working, do you know which port it runs on? I've tried 8080 and 8443, I know there's probably a way to find that out, just gotta keep looking.

Re: [Share] Ubuntu with integrated 1.4.5 server
PwAdmin? Dunno...
We have modified chineese iweb, if ivanaivana won't be against, I can add it with some features to iso and upload an update
-
Re: [Share] Ubuntu with integrated 1.4.5 server
Yep, iweb would be useful, though there is an English release for iweb that would probably be better, going to try that instead.

Re: [Share] Ubuntu with integrated 1.4.5 server
Default port for iweb is 80. If your network host doesn't allow you to open port 80 than you will need to find your httpd file and change the listen port from 80 to 8080 and save / restart. (assuming your using tomcat or apache that is).
