Microsoft Vows to kill Google

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer vowed to "kill" Google in an
expletitive-laced, chair-throwing tirade when a senior
engineer told him he was leaving the company to go work
for Google, the engineer claimed in court documents made
public on Friday.

In a sworn statement made public Friday, Mark Lucovsky,
another Microsoft senior engineer who left for Google in
November 2004, recounted Ballmer's angry reaction when
Lucovsky told Ballmer he was going to work for the search
engine company.

"At some point in the conversation, Mr. Ballmer said:
'Just tell me it's not Google,'"Lucovosky said in his
statement. Lucovosky replied that he was joining Google.

"At that point, Mr. Ballmer picked up a chair and threw it
across the room hitting a table in his office," Lucovosky
recounted, adding that Ballmer then launched into a tirade
about Google CEO Eric Schmidt. "I'm going to f***ing bury
that guy, I have done it before, and I will do it again.
I'm going to f***ing kill Google." Schmidt previously
worked for Sun Microsystems and was the CEO of Novell.

You know you get get almost any distro of linux and run WINE on it (www.winehq.org) and play games on it? The gaming division of whine is at www.transgaming.com

uhhhmm... in terms of "power" i think Microsoft excel. And i hate it, rumors says that Microsoft will be doing raid on pirated copies of there Operating Systems in all Internet Cafe's in my place, if it'll happen then all Internet cafe's in my place will be closed :( f*ck microsoft. :( huhuhuh........

my opinion on this: Google is good but can never defeat microsoft, , mac sucks ass id rather use NOTHING then mac. and just think about it, go over the pro's and contra sides of both

google: perfect search engine+nice messenger, lot of spyware
microsoft: most ppl in the world that uses a computer uses microsoft, most piece of software, game made is compatible for microsoft, im not saying all but most by big difference, noob employees.

then again, i could be wrong but thats my tought on it all

I like Microsoft products. Yes, they're pretty buggy in places, and have some security holes, but EVERYONE uses them and they are so simple to use. Without Microsoft (or at least their ideas, stolen or not lol), we'd have to spend a year or so learning how to use a PC. Whereas now, just about anyone can go out, buy a computer, take it home and voila they can use word processors, spreadsheets, IM programs and surf the internet with hardly any problems at all.

I hate apple.... Mostly because im so used to using windows and all things PC related that when i touch an apple mac and i don't know how to do something... It pisses me off to the absolute max. Inspite of all those negative images of Microsoft, i must admit i wont use other nonMicrosoft OS. sigh... they are more advance...

google and what so ever other company is planning to make OS doesnt make sense. the word "releasing" is much better than "planning". Imagine the the next release of Windows OS.

sigh... i guess i have to buy 23 license copy of Microsoft Windows XP Pro. any one have any idea how much would it cost?

u can buy group licences. for 20 computers i think before it cost 25k PHP or 500$...
