No you'r not, all you need is the main game for it(ARMA 2 + OA) Thats tha whole point in PRIVATE games you wont need to pay for it, if U dont want but its works a like with original too :P

So in simple words:

This pack is containing everything you need, to play with it.
Original Or warez alike (its not depending from that...)

Read. Think. Use Winrar. At least the latest.I have RE Downloaded and extracted FIVE(!!) times(Yep five times extracted, and tested INSTALLER). IT IS GOOD ARCHIVE BOTH OF THEM Your welcome. YOU HAVE TO put them in one directory, then in winrar start extract part 1(you dont need to start part 2, part 1 will take care of...)

THERE IS 2 part of the file, if you cannot put together, i cant help, plug the PC and walk away... its a splitted archive. READ THE WHOLE THREAD before posting (and the fact is that the files have one less download for archive 2 is proves that you missed rar 2)

First I just want to say thanks a lot for posting these.
I do seem to get a error message about msvcr100.dll missing when I try to join the server (and yes I've installed the net framework program ). In addition the server appears two times in the join server list for some reason.
Also, is the latest version standalone or do you need to have the previous version of the server as well? I ask because there was only one db_update folder (1,6) in the latest version.

You can also get newest server version using this tool from ConanHUN https://github.com/downloads/conan51...Downloader.rar . Extract it, run Installer.bat, wait for downloads to finish, than copy all content from DayZ-Private to your Arma2OA folder. Of course all credits goes to creators Guru Abdul for server and ConanHUN for Easy Installer.

Anyway I cant get this sh1t running. Probably too much different "warez" versions of Arma ^^ Dun know which one to use. Got server up and running, get rid of being banned at connect but screen stuck on "waiting for host" message ... Server keeps spamming with "Mission DayZ read from bank" ... I've read almost all pages on their forum but nothing helps me yet ...

1. You need the latest Visual basic Runtime too to your machine, check microsoft webpages for it... Then the dll errors gonna blow away.

2. No you dont need the prevoius version, if you setup correctly, it will let you in.(You have to change the separator , to . in mysql otherwise you stuck on loading

3. You dont need the prevoius version as i mentioned, however you need a CLEAN install.(Delete the prevoius folders: DayZ, ARMA2Net, Sanctuary, Server_setup ect CAREFULLY!!) Before that make a backup of the database characters.

Yes man, its the very SAME version belive it or not, i did NOTHING modifycation with it.Just checked out and uploaded to share with you people. I just refreshing the archives to be on more mirror on the web, so it you need the latest, yes check github, its ConanHUN's work.

THIS thing is nothing to do with the "warez" version, its just a MOD. an YES it is working. you need the latest beta patch MP and this packages containing 1.7.2.3 AND itself the beta patch too. Yopu will need ARMA 2 CO, and ARMA 2 OA expansion thats all... (Try search the Jimbus edition, thats worked for me...)

Try the separator change too in mysql, run the vehicle fix registry file in server_setup.
Oh and: IT IS working. just need to setup carefully. arma be at least 1.62

My intention was to post that tool I didn't say that u modified anything :)

I've already tried Jimbus edition, his unpacker crashes for me after 60% of stuff unpacking ...

Now I'm trying with Arma2 Free + OA

I know that you not pointed that out, i just wanted to clear things(for others who may ask such things ;) )

Well my jimbus is 3 DVD5 and it is working good... try to dl from other source... :\

As far as i know it wont work with free arma, but try it... :\

Oh!

If everything fails, try to merge 1.6 with 1.5.1, and try that, dunno just an idea...(cuz 1.5.1 is bigger than 1.6)
