yes it is a material effect ^_^. btw i used to model with milkshape. anyone know how you can make a custom shape (put 3 dots on and it joins them up into a triangle) least thats how milkshape worked.

just made this stargate inspired thing. also i've done some guys fishing.
you know where cna i get material effects? mine have none lol

for the materials go to the material editor (4 circles in top right) then press "G" and choose mtl library "top option" choose a blue thing. btw these effects only appear if you press F10 and view the rendered version. and the dot thing doesn't matter. heres the start of a map im making!

edit: im gonna try and model a character. dunno what yet.
i just remembered something by the triangles i meant like if you look at the wireframe on a sphere they are made of triangles i wanted to know how to do those customly.
