Naruto on cartoon network

Ive heard that naruto will be on cartoon network today which is saturday and will start at 9pm on toonami.....I went to see the clip of the preview...And all i want to say was that the voices of them are now very lame:burn: Because naruto's voice sounds like a dumb kid also like a little kid.Animes that were made in japan of course has better voices than the american ones.Because naruto in the japan version sounds like, kool you know what i mean? might as well play it japanese with subtitles on =p, Because the japanese voices sounds kooler than english.:thumbup:

Saw the clip aswell... wasn't impressed at all. I think I'll be sticking to the subbed versions from DB.

Fact is your getting something in english, voice may not fit, GET OVER IT. Be older than 5. Its always annoyed me how people whine about voices in games and shows. If you enjoy video games or anime enough, you wont care if the voices arent quite right, or a name is pronounced wrong. You should just be glad you have it in english.

dont worry DB is still going to do the subs, Naruto 1-60 was only licensed, an for all we know since it was skipped last week means that its going to do the jump into the future.

Personally I like anime because of the Jap. Language. For me it is not the same in any other language, or narrated differently, but, it is intended for people who are more TV, and know nothing about computers/downloading epsides, or the Real Anime World. Don't like it don't watch it. Oo?

So who picked this one up? from one of my anime geek friends he told me the people who made Inuyasha pick Naruto up, but I'm going to watch the subbed version since only like one anime really suited dubbing; cowboy Bebop

I didn't like the voice acting because I just didn't feel very convinced when they spoke... like, they're not trying hard enough to sound believeable. It just ends up coming out lame. But what makes it the worst is the mispronunciation of words like "Naruto," "Kage," "Jutsu," and "Konohamaru." Good thing we still have the subbed eps to look forward to ^_^

EDIT: hmm, they still have the "Sexy No Jutsu" but no nosebleeds :( so ppl's reactions look really stupid just falling over. It's just not the same without the blood.

It seemed kool. I have no problem with subs, but i still like to be able to pay attention to the show/movie more by not having to read. I like anime for the art, the humor, and the fighting......and even though im a guy....ill admit the romantic hyjinx is pretty entertaining aswell. I dont care what the people's voices sound like, i seriously dont even pay attention to it. The tone of their voices just kinda blends away for me, all i hear is whats going on. ^^ So in other words, bad dubbing doesnt have any affect what-so-ever on me. About the only thing that ever annoyed me, was that musashi samurai legend game lol. But that was more towards the stupid conversations, than the actual voice.

That movie sucked. It couldn't hold my attention and there was not enough character development so i didn't care what the hell happened to them.

Adult Swim started in 1994, I know this. I was referring to the anime segments of it. "Ninjas," of course; only ninety-nine percent of anime has this as a theme too. "Hey you noob, shut up! The script is good, and so is the character depth!" "You're wrong, there is goodness in this world!" What the fuck is that? Why do they add "ness" at the end of "good?" Is "good" not good enough? "I will come to you and kill you!" .. three episodes later and the antagonist has been defeated, and still very alive. Talk the oppenant to death is their method of war. In war all they do is maunder about meaningless jargon, much of which is a postulate of what? Sasuke was eliminated because he was unpopular, and Sakura will soon be as well. Sasuke has to gain that second level of.. what ever his blood line trait is, and Sakura truly is not present to the story line. Naruto then will fight Sasuke in an 'epic' battle, and of course win. Oh wait, the current episodes deal with the teacher Naruto had back in episode one. If he dies will anyone care? Ok, so lets look back at all those characters they 'pretended' to kill in the fight for Sasuke. Did anyone really care for them? The fat kid dies, oh? What did they do; they threw in flashbacks of his life to attempt sympathy. No one knows the fat kid! Then the arrogant asshole, who again has flash backs to try and attain sympathy upon his death, dies. Then the unpredictable, Lee jumps in and nearly dies, which is an attempt in gaining depth. They will have him deeply rooted in the series at some point because of this, or the author to the series is some kind of soap opera writer. Blah blah blah.. I really could go on for atleast ten pages explaining the depth of each character through out the series, but that would give away every inch of simplicity to the show.

This show is a toothy blowjob, and like Hentai Boy it's bad.

Wow, a three day benge in sleep deprivation really gets me working on what I hate. Normally I would brush this off with some little shout at how whomever sucks, but I actually analyzed, not to well, why. Again, I would like to emphasize "not to well," because this is not well written or thought out. However, it has more depth than what any of you has said.

Maybe I might be wrong about this, but the way I see it is like this. Adult Swim really does not show anime catering to the hard core anime types who know everything about it. Instead they just show it to the person who happens to flip the channel and comes across it and stops thinking, hey this is pretty cool I might need to watch this more often. Not knowing much about what is lost in the dub, or how it has been edited to fit the constraints of that channel. IE with the language editing, what may have been changed, cut out etc.

At least thats how I see it. Because what really got me watching anime was coming across an episode of Cowboy Bebop on CN. From there I started downloading it and buying a few movies, and after that time I then had noticed how CN edited and cut parts from their anime.

Japanese naruto sounds like an idiot witha rabbit stuck in his throat but he still sounds better that the english dub. the worst thing is that they translated the shadow clone technique (kage bunshin) as "attack of the doppleganger" wtf is with that. still i'm ahead of the anime cos i've read all the mangaand am completely up to date. Teen Naruto looks cooler is a better ninja but is still a pervert tho less of one than Jiraya, i say no more i wouldn't want to spoil it for u lot. :)

maybe thats becouse it's aimed at children poon. don't bother saying that it's not cos of all the blood, when it comes to anime, manga and games the japanese are very liberal. if you want to watch more adult anime look for things that would show on the sci fi channel or online than on CN.
