Need help with pwadmin and IPS.
Hello!
I am having a little problem with pwadmin, because there is a page wich says Cant connect to MYSQL Database.
I know where the config file is but I do not know how to do it... (Just need a confirmation in how to do it.)
The other problem is IPS. There are some files where I have to remove the default ip and put my ip, but wich IP? Is it the IPV4 or my public ip? Serverlist.txt in the client, wich ip do I put there?
The last problem is I do not know the ports that I have to portforward so my friends can join...
Is it 29000 for the game, 80 for the website and 8080 for the advanced website? Just this..?
Version of the server is 1.4.4

what can i say and help you is..try 1.3.6 first..try 343 release....better try search before asking...SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no ammount of searching will help him for his problem. He is referring to Characters not importing to mysql. No one has ever helped anyone with this issue so like most of us, he has to try and figure it out on his own.

you would work fine with 1.4.4, the only thing as of right now that no one is willing to help with is pwAdmin character editing. /iweb/role can do that though, and that's what I use

i know about pwadmin cant' load chter.need use new iweb for load chter..what can't i believe he's say is here

so it the problem is start..i know some of new in here don't know about this ip..but for me it to simple to lean..and so many topic they can find about this Ip's...343 already put some note and already say about this ip's..so WHY DONT they use the searching box for they problem.and we all in here can help to solve they problem if that is new problem...but how about the same problem?

he can use the iweb character protocol all he wants, point is it wont call till he actually changes role.jsp to reflect the proper call procedures ^^ and I know your not trying to fight with me ^^

LOL...im also still learn about this protocal and still learn how the protocal and java working.. romulan and hrace009 can load they pwadmin like 1.3.6...im still dont know how they do it..and still thinking..

I can pretty much tell you what to change but Im not an expert so it takes time for me to actually fix this all. I do however plan on releasing pwAdmin with "ALL" features working as in 1.3.6 but will take a small bit of time to do ^^. I have no help so I am pretty much learning this as I go, got me a real good ebook with JSP for linux servers and am reading that and using what I already know to fix it. If you figure it out before i do, great, if not, just give me a little time ^^

I managed to fix pwAdmin within 1-2 hours (this was before the 144 files were publicly released and with no outside help), so it shouldn't be hard for anyone else. Just put your mind to it and you should have it sorted in no time :)

aww schucks lol thats just cause your better at the JSP / webserver stuff than I am ^^ but dont worry im learning. I actually just learned how to get rid of blank pages ^^ and I can get it to see im online just wont pull character information / cause its not injecting into into roles table for it to read, but I think im close to figuring that out. Hopefully.

That was actually my first attempt of playing with jsp :)
right now it is thinking "account id = role id, role 32 doesn't seem to exist...crap".
You need to create a solution which can say "OH!, this is the role ids for this account".
Can't really say much more without giving the answer away :), just look for a way to get the role id of a character... then the answer will be right in front of you :)
