Seeing as though there is a worst film thread, I thought I should make a Best Film thread.
My best film: The Devil Inside
Reason: I don't know why it is my favorite film, I have watched it 3 times in 3 days, I think I like it because its a documentary type film.
Step up 3,4 Revolution ,Prince of persia,B13,Resident Evil that all i can remember:drool:
Actually i have 2 "best" films
First one is "I spit on your grave (2010)" - Horror / Thriller movie. Its a remake of a movie that was orginally made in 1978. "A writer who is brutalized during her cabin retreat seeks revenge on her attackers, who left her for dead."

Another one is "Prayers for Bobby (2009)" - Drama movie. "True story of Mary Griffith, gay rights crusader, whose teenage son committed suicide due to her religious intolerance. Based on the book of the same title by Leroy Aarons."

It's so hard to say best movie from all the movies, because there is loads of those and i love too many movies to say which one is the best, but lets just say one of my favorites, it's The Avengers

The majority of the movies mentioned are bad. Not horrible enough to call it a shit movie, but not good enough for it to be called a decent movie.
Project X? I mean, it was an OK entertaining movie, but it doesn't have "best film ever" potential at all.
The butterfly effect was a really great movie with an interesting story.
Shutter Island was a mind fuck, nice movie as well.
Those would be a part of my worth to watch list.
The Dark Knight rises for me,
or the whole Batman trilogy with Christian Bale.
One of the best films ever :D

Titanic aswell! and like Improved said, Shutter island was also a great movie, but I expect it has more to do with DiCaprio, or he just knows how to pick them. =P

You're probably going to laugh but I actually enjoyed Twilight Breaking dawn part 1, Me and my friend went to watch it in the cinema in 2011 and we both though it was going to be shit but we actually enjoyed it, lol, I got to watch it twice in the cinema as my girl friend wanted to watch it too.
But the best film I've ever watched is Taken.
I watched it on the plane to florida a couple months back, it is pretty good, with a good ending.Quote:

The Great Escape. Total classic, 'nuff said.
TED: The Movie is a pretty good film too actually. Watched it a couple of weeks back in the cinema, liked it and found it fairly comical.
I also like Hot Fuzz as Roper said above, one of the best films I've seen in a while.
I enjoy the fast and furious series and a lot of Stephen Kings films.

IronClad is a class film, good storyline, takes a while to get into the film, where the main plot starts but there are other twists in the film.

These are all old movies but I gotta say, the modern ones, keeeraaap (crap)!
They have added comedy to the wrong scenes in the movie. Like when HULK punches Thor , it supposed to be a sad moment. And other scenes too. That ruined it. Otherwise it was a well done movie , but from a $220,000,000 budget I guess anyone could do it.Quote:
