How to Stop Duping Using Mutoolz

Actually this wasnt my idea...

one of the user of mutoolz used this setup and he sent me an email about it, that it totally worked for him.

NO DUPE SERVER IS EASY.

1. Remove all Trade on all your server
2. just let them use website auctions.

Actually i rather think it is a win win situation for any server admin. cause if they use ur site more.. means u get more revenue from ur ads.

Ow yeah.. please dont ask me how to stop trade... it will really piss me off
and dont thank me thank the guy who sent me the email

is ther a way to make something like trades in mutoolz? not exactly that, but something like it

i think is a great idea... but i also think it would be a very hardest work... :s .... but i will try to do something like this,,, but i'm sure that john will do it best :P

but i'm thinking that you was trying to tell that the trade must be trought web, and in game there will be no trade :)

john_d i just found out about a new dupe that only requires the vault.and is the easiest way to dupe so that idea would stop most dupers but not all.let me correct myself this was only tested on 99B+ servers so i am not sure if this dupe works on other servers

then how about no vault, and use web vault instead?

as far as i can remember duping has always has something to do with trade...
even with vault.. it will still have to do with trading...

or i maybe wrong.. lolz ihavent even played mu in months.. bahaha

nope this way needs only a vault.i have tested it on 99B+ and it works great not sure about others

where can i read about this dupe method? not that i wanna use it lolz...just to be sure and to know what i can do about it if it really exists

we could modify the script to read from inventory.. and not vault...

well, yeah, but you'd need to log off everytime ur inventory was full... do u think there can be a way to make the GAME, not the web, show web vault contents in game vault?

Hm...something else...perhaps an idea for a mutoolz new addon....lets say i (or any other player) put an item in a web vault of some sort...not just current web vault, but a web vault for everyone...like a global vault where everyone can store their items...and you can only take out items with a password...like for example...i put in a blue feather...and tell a friend of mine i have a gift for him...and i tell him the password...then he goes to the vault...enters the password...and gets the blue feather...or for events of some sort...i dont know...think about it...i actually got this idea off a game (animal crossing XD) but think about it, and who can develop...i mite giv it a go, based on web vault or something...iono, think about it...

This IS rather offtopic...but has SOMETHING to do with the subject XD

it removes the something from the game, i know duping and wutever but removing trade is like another mu game.

what if we wil use dupefinder and delete the duper account what do you think?

yea mine as well just use that and ban the dupers come on u have to admit u have to have the supense to ban people it makes the like AH NO WAY!!!lol umm plus getting rid of trade might mess up the people playing ur server.cuz they wouldnt want to play a server u cant trade on rite i no i wouldnt want to :P

well the dupe finder .exe that you run dont tell you who is the duper.just who has duped items.so if they traded the items you will be blocking someone who didnt dupe

ok my ideea is this:
why u people who use 0.99b don't activate this in MyGsFun.ini:
NoJYFW=5
JYJGTime=5
This settings should block trade near npc, due some missing table or i really don't know why, the mesage is in chinese, they disconect the people who try to trade near npc
i set 5 coordonates, see if someone try to trade in a radius of 5 coordonates near NPC will be disconnected
so they will learn not to trade near NPC
in my server they do and they are OK with this, if they are people who don't like dupe, they will understand
so i think this will stop at least 70% from dupes
also i sugest u to remove Vault from Noria
and also to remove golden budge drogon from events and also to disable Chip Event
golden budge dragon drops box of luck who can be used to shadow bug
also chip event it's about box of luck so it should be better to close it also
so in this way u resolve allmost all problems with dupe and shadow bug in ur server

Removing trade is removing a large part of mu :P.. Its faster then using site.
But still stops duping a bit :P
