Hehe that's huge!
Hey!! That's my computer!
If they saw what our computers were like today they would probably go nuts lol.
its a piss take >_ >
its got a boat wheel thingy on it fgs lol
LoL my teacher was talking about those 2days ago.
Looks like a bit of a piss take, but here's a few quotes from big figures in the world of IT and computing:
"The world will only need five computers" - Thomas J. Watson, IBM
"There is absolutely no need for a computer in the home" - Ken Olsen, DEC
"640 kilobytes is all the memory you will ever need" - Bill Gates, Microsoft
yea i was just about to say that hydra. bill gates said that by the year 2000, there would be 7 computers in the world.
nice steerin wheel bet its used cause the pc can handle all the best drivin games.
lol too bad theres no screen to see were ya goingQuote:

Im thinking, nano HDD, ect. all enclosed into a mp3 player type size, keyboard peice lached onto the left arm, also can be dismantaled and placed on a flat surcafe for gamming, mouse is small but not to small, perhaps air wave sensitive so it doesnt have to beused on a surface.. (or maybe a touch pad mouse on the arm keyboard., then some cool shades/or brain tech that intergrates the images in your visual area of the brain Oo? (Brain Viruses anyone Oo?)
You mean Paint. :rolleyes:Quote:

It'd be awesome to see what home computers will be like in another 50 years. I wonder if our guesses would be a little more accurate this time around.
50 years there really are gunna be crazy sexy. along with all the other gizmos and gadgets
actually, that computer could hardly process the program 'Notepad' on windows xpQuote:

lmao that doesent supprise me. Looks like a quality home entertainment system tho :D
50 years time..... No mouse or keyboard (maybe for the equivilent to a DOS interface tho). Will take vocal commands. Monitors will be the same i guess but they could and prolly will have holographic displays. Looking at the interface side of things.... Will either be advanced touch screen (thats already available so i doubt it). Could be Vocal (but that also exists... + who could be botherd to talk all the time?) or a type of interface shown in minoirty report? that seems viable. Or maybe a mixture of both.
Homes will all be run on computers. So doing the basic things will all be audiable: lights, flush, TV on, wank me off..... You know, all the basics :)
This should be in the humour me section imo...tell that to my aching lungs rofl :P
Twice as acurate for every 8 years ;)Quote:

if you were to ask Thomas J. Watson today he most likely woud tell you..."you need 2 computers in every home" and Bill Gates would tell you"you need 1gigbyte ram and a 160gigbyte hard drive":eh: :icon6:i beileve its all about the MONEY nowadaysQuote:

this makes more sense to me, manipulating objects with a totally innovative device. Kind of like in the matrix in the scene where their ship is approaching Zion, with the dock operator touching an hologram screen :D
or virtual gloves...

But here is MY projection for the future. In 50 years, computers will be nanotech 100%. There will be no keyboards or mice unless necessary. Like we have powerful PDA's today, there will be (MICRO) micro computers implanted right into our brain. Images will be projected directly into the rear of the human eye and everything will be controlled by voice or mere thought. Wouldnt that be cool.
Grrr Don't revive Old Threads.
