The search for a similarity of Racing. (there.com related)

If anyone here has played there.com, you know EXACTLY what this game has to offer, the amazing races of Buggies, Paint-balling, Hosting events, and MUCH more than just that. As you know There.come closed and the Re-opened again for a monthly subscription. Now due to financial personal issues, I do not wish to pay 2 play the game. Seeing as there isn't any private servers (to my knowledge) of there.com, I was wondering, Does anyone know of a Great alternative for an Online Virtual World, such as There.com where it has Car racing? I'm not interested in Gaia online, Neither I am with Second Life, as we all know Second Life's Vehicle operations are quiet poor. There.com by far, in my opinion, has the best vehicle function and physics a Virtual World has to offer.

So in this post, can someone recommend a virtual world that has vehicles options like there.com has, that are free 2 play, Or at least have open sim options.

Onverse has some cars and paintball , but cars do cost real money I think , not sure though. Paintball is free , its an event.

anything else? I know Nuvera is planning on programming vehicles so idk whats going on with that
