Shops Selling Bulk Chocolate Cheap Is Bad?

Hello, so I was walking into my local co-operative, and see many kids buying 4 packs of chocolate bars for just a pound, there was about 6 kids, and they each bought 1 packet for themselves, if shops are selling bulk ammounts of chocolate and kids are buying these as they are at a cheap price, how bad will this be for some children? My brother who is 9 used to buy one of these every day, and even though our mum told him to stop, he still carried on, so are these bulk chocolates at cheap prices going to get kids fatter? What do you think?
They have a wide vary, such as wispa, crunchy, mars bar, snickers, etc. Even some kids buy more than 1 packet. I think parents should be more aware of what their children purchase.

Well It depends on weather they eat all of their guide lined calories a day if they dont then its alright because it will fill the guide lines up, but if they consume more then required then we got a problem here

Yes but you're in the united kingdom and they say you should not concede over 2500 for male and 2000 for women and kids so if it goes up to 1000 they can still have 1000 calories for dinner.

I consume anywhere between 2.5k and 3.5k calories a day. As long as you don't sit on your ass you're not going to get fat.

Stay active and you can eat a lot more. I've weighed 150-160lbs since high school.

Exactly. As long as you exercise and don't intake an insane amount of Calories you're going to be just fine. I honestly feel sorry for 'Calorie Counters' though, that's no way to live your life imo.

Yeah that's good, I suppose you can eat quite a bit if you do enough exercise, but you don't really see the fat kids getting enough of it, haha.

Too right, there's no fun in life if you know how much you're eating and every time you go to eat something you check how many calories it has, just eat it and get some decent exercise.

No, I was buying Monster, which I suppose isn't too good if you consume too much of it either, and I just happened to see numerous ammounts of children buying bulk ammounts of chocolate. :laugh:

So Cadbury has released a ton of chocolate for a very low price which is exactly what everyone wanted and you are saying that they shouldn't because some kids don't know how to control themselves. Well, how about we let these kids deal with the consequences and maybe learn something from it now that their parents can't give them the powerful bitch slap that they desperately need?
