The friendlist dissapear on logout
The friendlist disappear when the player logs out of the server ... Does anyone know what can be? I have no idea where to look. The database seems ok, the permissions for files are given and the gamedbd.log only has:

Another problem is that when someone dies and comes back to the city, reborn in the same place
Can anyone help me solve this problem please?

I don't know if this information is useful, but the problem of death doesn't occur within instances

Well, I used the onlydev.ru pack and now the problem with back to city is solved, but the problem with the friendlist still remains . . .

I just changed the server files, the folder "dbdata" remains the same.

none of the releases save for the chinese one works correctly. I have been working on those files for some time now, it's much more than just one file that is the issue. I have replaced 40% or better of the files. including config files

I have had NO issues with FL saving, with MCNCC release as my base... So, anyone that is having problems w/ their FL's not saving MUST be either shutting down or rebooting their server too quickly (and expecting it to work) or not following proper shutdown or reboot procedures ~ or BOTH shutting down or rebooting too early AND improperly... ... ...

I cannot assure you that even I know the "proper" shutdown or reboot method, but the one I use and consider to be 'correct' (or at least "safe") would be to perform a "friendly kill" of the server, which will make a nice player warning message to anyone who is connected (the notorious 300 second till server shutdown notice from official PWi) and bring GS down. Then allow no less than twelve minutes to elapse. Then you can kill the rest of the services after this twelve minutes has elapsed. Then you can reboot or shutdown the physical machine (or VM)... If you do this, your FL should remain in-tact :wink:
To further elaborate, I'm pretty sure this has something to do with an interval when the DB makes certain 'writes', I just cannot remember if it was actually every 8 minutes, or every 12 minutes. So I go with 12 minutes to be safe ("rather be safe than sorry"). I believe this also ties in with a problem with marriage from v136, because "everyone out there" had problems w/ marriage "not sticking" in v136, though I never had that issue when performing "proper shutdowns" or "proper reboots" as I've procedurally described how to do above... I was finally only able to replicate problems with "marriage sticking" if I shutdown or reboot the server in under 12 minutes... So, to be safe, go with 12 minutes as I initially outlined in my above instructions :wink::):

Ok, so if I follow the correct instructions to reboot / shutdown my friendlist return to normal operation?
friendlist disappears not only when the server is restarted, but when the player logs out of the server

Well if a characters friends list disappears upon them logging out (without you rebooting or shutting down at all), there is probably more to it. Though to find out for sure I would start with a fresh/clean DB just to make sure your DB hasn't been somehow corrupted/broken/whatever... BTW, which v, and release are you using ?
I will warn you, if you're using the v145 Beelzebub release/base, I would scrap it and download the one from MCNCC (or any one with a MCNCC base)... :wink: The Beezlebub release is known to be highly bugged.

I used the v145 Beelzebub, but I switched to v145 OnlyDev.Ru keeping only the files contained in the folder /gamedbd/dbdata not to lose the data of the old characters
This still can influence something?

Yea, that IS your game DB. The MySQL DB is only account info: log in name, password, etc... The DBDATA *is* the game's DB (characters, FL's, etc...)
you would need to wipe/delete ALL of that to start clean... (doesn't mean not to keep a backup of it somewhere should that not be the problem!)
